I bill 0.5x for pleasant dreams of on time PBCs. I bill 2x for nightmares

funnylike

Yes, please use the nightmares code.

likefunny

If I solved a previously outstanding issue then you bet. This has happened exactly 3 times in my career.

likefunny

Yes

like

Just make sure to charge to the right code depending on the level of dream (i.e. dream within a dream) and to reduce by the amount of time that’s not actually passing in real life.

Time spent in limbo goes to G&A but we all knew that already.

likefunny

No

like

That will be 8 hours 3-4 nights for me.

like

Also, ensure that you use the appropriate tax code based on dream location

funny

Reminding me of that great time where I dreamt of a solve and woke up and wrote it down. Got done with my day’s work at 7am

like

No. What do you put as description?

PWc 1 i guess i can’t charge time when im telling my staff what to do everyday

like

Then I should charge 24/7

Yes

Only if it is a wet one! Wait no that’s PTO! Actually I eat that time, already got something out of it!!

Totes

Nightmares count?

Yes.

Yes, and make sure you multiply the dream time by 7x, as anyone who’s seen Inception knows reality passes at 7x the rate of your perceived dream time

What will the project dynamics be on a project staffed with 3mdps, a PL, and myself, a summer UG intern? Just got staffed and will be hearing more on Monday from the team, but it came across as an interesting staffing composition.

Have the feeling I'll be making quite a few slides as the only junior. Anyone staffed on a similar case composition?

I just finished a big jury trial with a senior partner (SP). There were co-parties w/separate counsel. SP mentally checked out, to the point that co-counsel was asking what SP was doing/if SP was okay. I ended up handling most everything. SP did a few parts but went rogue and did things that were offensive/risky/bad for client. It became clear that SP is not performing like SP used to and may be a liability. Do I tell someone at my firm? Don’t want to offend SP or cause drama, but I’m concerned.
