Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

What a great manager! I love that she pushed you to go after bigger roles instead of selfishly holding you back. It's great to hear a positive manager story and I'm sure your manager leads her team well.

She truly is amazing. When you have a great manager, the job feels lighter and even the workload doesn’t seem overwhelming. It really makes all the difference.
So happy for you! Now I just need one of those managers! Mine isn’t bad, but they definitely will not be going out of their way for anyone. I practically had to beg to learn some other things so I could eventually move out of my first position at the company, still working on that..

There are honestly very few like her. I still wonder how I got lucky enough to end up on her team. Wishing you all the best in your search for a new position. Hard work always pays off, with or without support.

Somewhat related, I have one rule: ALWAYS go to the interview. Overqualified, underqualified, happy with your current job, it doesn't matter. You never know what will come of it, and an interview isn't an obligation to take a position, if offered, Also, I go on interviews to improve my own interview skills.

That’s so true. Every interview, good or bad, teaches you something. Even if you don’t get the position, you at least walk away with a lesson on what to improve for next time.

Absolutely agree—having the right manager can make all the difference. It’s amazing what we can achieve when someone believes in us and has our back. Huge kudos to your manager for being that kind of leader! 👏

She was one of the best managers I’ve ever worked with. If I ever get the chance to become a manager myself, I’d want to lead just like her-supportive, strong, and genuinely inspiring.
