When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

This all hit NYC last year. Any agency that was heavily reliant on a couple of fat AOR contracts and not diversified got hit hard. Things have leveled out in NYC now and I think LA will see the same thing. The future is smaller agencies, more project contracts, more clients and more freelancers. 72 was just unlucky to be leaning very heavily on MillerCoors and General Mills, I have to imagine that’s tough revenue to replace.
Parent companies need to hit their bottom line. It’s almost the holidays. This happens every year.
Small branding agencies are having layoffs too. Heard a lot of clients are cutting their marketing budgets for next year because of tariffs and recession scares.
LA agencies seems have had significant rolling layoffs for the last 3 years, TBH. Sucks.
Ugh, that sucks. Sorry to hear that!
It feels like most of the big shops out here have had layoffs in the past year.
Not sure if we'll ever see an automotive account leave an AOR structure. Actually, FCA doesn't do AOR anymore and just briefs dozens of agencies on their roster at the same time. It's a mess.
FCA has 20 agencies working/pitching for free at the moment. You would think they have used up just about all their freebie pitches at this point. I doubt there will be many agencies willing to buy a lottery ticket next year - then again, I said that last year too.
Ugh. How many at 72andSunny were laid off?
