LEK fishes, how easy/hard is it to get fired within 1 year at LEK as an associate. That's how long I plan to stay, and I need to know how hard to try

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

Where should I apply if I want to exit consulting but significantly increase my TC. Currently ~250k (200k base, 50k billable bonus).

16 YoE; T2 city; background in analytics / data science / AI + strategy consulting.

Don't want to work in MANGA because their goals are uninteresting to me and their practices are pathetic.

Other options?

How difficult is it to move from the UK to US without having studied there and just applying to a big tech directly (not a transfer)? NB: have previously worked in a big tech as a PM in the UK as well as time at McK

Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.

Got laid off for the first time in my career 3 weeks ago. I have 10 years of PM experience (mostly ecommerce & experimentation). I understand that many individuals use this strategy but I think investing in index funds for the long haul is better from a wealth accumulation perspective, without even factoring in tax implications of 401k
