In due time I showed interest into taking up the role of one SM as a career progression since he is moving out. But to my surprise the outgoing SM supported the other leads for that role internally but on face value supported me. I am from consulting and for the past few weeks I expressed interest to my career coach contd.

Trying to laterally move to another in house position. At my current company, Counsel is a Manager level position while Senior Counsel is a Director level and General Counsel is Senior Director. Would like to find if Counsel is a Director role at other companies.

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

I have some collections on my credit report. One from an electric company for $800 (imo they violated terms of contract and sent me to collections in spite of their fuck up), and an apartment for $80~ that charged me a cleaning fee when my apartment was spotless.
