We've found there's not a lot out there that really hits the mark between strategic alignment and tactical structures for delivery. We're working now with a consultancy (client) to design & build a new entry to address this market whitespace.

Ironically, we are managing the project in Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), which is only underscoring the need for the alternative we're building.

This hits the nail on the head for what I’ve found in my research - Nothing seems to fit our needs quite right but I couldn’t pin down the reason. Would love to chat about this further and hear about the new product

Hello Good people of Fishbowl!
I am interviewing for an Enterprise - AE role at a early stage startup(one of their first hires) and after 2 rounds of Interviews, I am asked to create a sequence of emails for prospecting with a specific client that would be a good fit for the product. I must admit, I’ve never prospected via Email(cold calling + inbound exp) Iam unsure as to how to proceed with this. Any guidance on this/places I can look for help would be highly appreciated. Thanks a ton :D

Decided that I’m leaving audit today. Trying to understand the full range of opportunities in forensics. Will have my CPA and CFE. So far, I understand that there are client-serving firms like FTI and then the B4 will have forensics arms as well. What are some other forensic accounting roles? Pros and cons? Better than audit? Honestly just looking to learn anything.

Debate:
If you’re interviewing for a new position outside the firm and the interviewer is unavailable after your billable hours (staff augmentation project). Typically for appointments (dentist, doctor), we make up the time outside of working hours. Would you A) block off the time on your calendar as an appointment and make up the 30 min outside of normal working hours
OR B) take 30 minutes of PTO for interview
