I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.

How long do people typically prep before applying for non technical roles to be successful? The behavioral, case and company research can be quite time intensive.
Need some outside opinions - I’m on round 5 (final round is the 6th…) in an interview process and while the company has a good reputation and the role description is aligned with what I want, I have an uneasy feeling about the team. I feel like they are desperate to fill the role and have hinted that they have a ‘work hard’ environment. I’m not sure if I’m reading too much into it, but they seemed tired during the interviews and hardly cracked a smile.
Hello all - looking for an outside consultancy firm/company that evaluates and provides recommendations around talent development (I.e, competencies, talent review and successions planning)? It would need to be reasonable on pricing as well. We don’t have top self budget.

Interested to hear how people learn project management. I have done PRINCE2 exam and read PMP materials, but I find these are too textbook theory based. Real life projects seem to be very different and a lot more complicated. I often do not know what needs to be done unless someone tells me. I believe you can learn these things on the job, but I am keen to expedite this with some books or courses. Are there any resources that are particularly helpful?
Any Program or Project Managers willing to do a 15min informational interview? I am trying to get a better understanding of the roles and requirements.
I'm new to the Fidelity HSA account. If I have all my money in my HSA invested into stocks, bonds, etc. (No cash balance at all) and I suddenly have to pay for a medical expense, do I have to first manually sell the stocks to pay off my medical bill, or will Fidelity automatically sell the stocks for me so that I can pay for my medical bill?
