McKinsey & Company How likely is McKinsey to rescind an offer if there's a recession/downturn before my start date? Received an Associate offer with a start date early in the Fall. But I'm worried about the offer being rescinded due to the ongoing McK scandals/issues and a potential recession in the making (which may prompt them to freeze hiring and/or renege offers).
Has this happened to anyone before at McKinsey, offer getting rescinded due to economic/company downturn? A bit worried

PWC
PwC for sure
PWC, no offense Kpmg but it's kind of like you're a big 4 because they wanted a round number
More exit ops after core assurance
Umm PwC core assurance. Why is this even a question?
PWC
PwC obviously!
Choosing KPMG would be like having an offer to play for the major leagues but taking a position in the minor leagues
PwC core assurance. Moving from IA to TS seems like a huge stretch
Why
PwC Core Assurance is a much better opportunity. You'll be more likely to be able to transition to TS a few years down the road. Your exit oops will be much better. Trust me. I am not just drinking the PwC Kool-aid
Is it possible to move internally from IA to TS?
KPMG doesn't suck, IMO. Internal Audit sucks (from what I hear).
I just left KPMG internal audit and do not recommend it. However I was in there federal group so I don't know if it is better outside federal.
^i disagree. The KPMG offer isn't a terrible option. But the PwC offer is probably better for your career. Partially because PwC has more revenues, but primarily because it's a core assurance job
