I used perfect practice at a prior firm and liked it.
My firm used PerfectPractice until 2021, then we got CloudLex. PP is SO outdated compared to a cloud-based software! I’d recommend CloudLex, although you have to be extremely thorough when entering all the details (parties, insurance info, damages, etc.) if you want the documents to generate without having to go back and manually enter in a lot of information.
I’ve seen a lot of PI firms use FileVine and Clio, too, but I’m not sure if those generate documents.
XpressDox is pretty good and hits the sweet spot between power and user friendliness. I was paying about $35 CAD per month for it last year
