Colleague has put in his resignation. They are offering him whatever he wants to stay including 4days a week work from home. He’s not bluffing and plans to leave. I grew up with a lot of social anxiety so I can't really believe I'm saying this, but my favorite thing about working at a store is that I have to talk to people every day. It's really helped me come "out of my shell" and stepping outside of my comfort zone has given me more confidence than I ever thought it would.
