I’m looking at an offer and want make sure I’m in line with the average comp for the company and industry. Only 4 months of experience and offer is 98k w/ 10-20% bonus plus 15k relo/ sign on. Looking at Glassdoor, bonuses seem higher than quoted by the hiring manager. (No written offer yet they say they’re still working on it)

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Bain & Company Would you be ok to move out of strategy consulting while keeping the current TC in similar ballpark (~$200k) and improving WLB?
The new role is in industry and the future salary and career growth would be considerably slow as compared to consulting.

No, they are saying they aren't able to sponsor you
I advice you still go for the roles. They say that but a lot of those roles actually sponsor H1B visas!!!
Not at Deloitte...
Strategy jobs typically don’t sponsor h1bs.. u might find some MBB firms that do it, but big 4 is rare nowadays
It makes sense, Most strategy engagements are 6 to 8 weeks long. Filing for an LCA every 6 to 8 weeks makes sense for a firm at M and above, at A to C, the payoff might not be there for the firm.
These are positions where they wont be able to apply a h1-b for you.
In the past, no, we sponsored a lot of people. Now at least since the Trump administrations cracked down on h1bs. The firm has really not been sponsoring.
And based purely on the reading of the description if you will need sponsoring that job isn't for you but I'm not a firm he hiring manager so ...
If you’re doing CPT / OPT - be very careful about your moves. Pick someplace that understands the need and is willing to file H1/L1 etc.
It could also be a role they are advertising for Green Card recruitment process. So unless you have a Green Card at least you won't qualify.
Likely this
Dont even think of joining Deloitte on H1b, one of the worst companies for immigration. I know many many people whi left deloitte because of immigration. I am also in the process of leaving deloitte
If they explicitly mentioned that they can’t sponsor visa for it, then they won’t most likely. You might want to try your luck but be prepared to be disappointed.
No and even if we were you don’t want our sponsorship. Our immigration attorneys have improved but the whole process is not very transparent and overly complicated. Additionally, should you apply and accept employment by stating that you are legally authorized to work and WILL NOT need sponsorship in the future, when you do, can cause you A LOT of problems during the GC process.
