McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)
McKinsey & Company Hi all! Any fishes at BCG and/or McK have time to chat sometime within the next few days/weeks?
I’m a consulting analyst at Accenture, really interested in strategy work (mainly tech/software clients but open to all backgrounds) hoping to make the jump some time next year. I’d very much appreciate connecting to understand your journey with the firms and the work you do.
Thanks in advance, and happy holidays!

Providence Health & Services Anyone looking to exit to industry? I’m a former Big 4 revenue cycle consultant now leading the net revenue valuation and analytics at a large West health system with two current openings. One is in the data shop (SQL, cloud migration, Clarity) and the other is on the analyst side (budget/forecast, variance/trend analysis). Offshore team for the grunt work allows us to focus on value-add, including collaboration with our data scientists on integrating machine learning into our processes. Providence Health & Services

If you’re in consulting now take some time to explore outside of this bubble. I think you’d do well in a “special projects” role at a startup or as a chief of staff. That CoS role would really benefit you if you’re looking to go the Ops path. You can always come back to consulting. I would explore the startup world while in school as well as payers. Intern in either of those areas then if you’re not thrilled you could come back after your 2nd year but honestly, consulting isn’t going anywhere. I finished my MBA last year and I wish I did more exploration. I still can but I had the oppty in school and interned in consulting. 😂😅😂 happy to chat further if you want.
I like the idea of Ops at a startup because it seems like an opportunity drive strategy execution while influencing the direction based on the executed performance
