I’m a Medicaid Consultant for my state with 10 years of experience. My job entails policy and procedures, data analysis, training and working with local government entities and private providers. I want to break into the private sector (Consultation/Business) as the pay is much higher and I have a better chance getting promoted. I have a masters but it’s in psychology, I’m wondering if I should obtain an MBA or should I get certifications? Thoughts?

I have not been on a project for over 3 months. Since I joined, I have been put in training. The training got extended by a month and now it's close to 4 months since I joined and without a project.

What should I do? People say that I'm lucky to get paid without doing any work, but it is stressing me out. I need the experience. The uncertainty is freaking me out, with rumours of layoffs and the certification program and all.

How do I get into a project? How long do I have to wait more?

Would you say through MBA OCR most individuals only receive 1 MBB offer? Or do people get 2-3 offers and then choose the firm of preference?

Just how hard is the CTA cert? I know theres only a little over 1200 CTAs but is that mainly because the concepts are that difficult or is it the length of the cert exam that prevents people from even attempting it?

I have been an HR assistant for 2 years in the public sector 80% staffing 20% recruiting, I want to break out into the private sector and have 5+ interviews but never seen grab there attention. I'm currently working as a Business Analyst and I have 2.6 YoE. My current domain is BFSI and I'm planning to do Salesforce admin certification. I don't have any prior experience with Salesforce l, would I be able to switch my domain to Salesforce easily?

Is the DAMA book worth the price? Has anyone gotten their CDMP cert? Is that even valuable to companies?

Is it worth to get an MBA? I have my CFP already and see I can get the degree online at Murray State by completing 8 total courses. Is it even worth it? other university’s that give CFP credit?
