Love my google Wi-Fi. 3 pucks in a 3 floor 2700 ft house. Never think about wireless coverage or speed. It just works.
I too have Google mesh. 4 pucks. Basement, main (kitchen), 2nd floor, loft floor. Signal everywhere. Good speeds
I have a Linksys velop and it works fine.. if cost is a concern feel free to start with that
Just make sure whatever you pick is mesh - all good options really
I recently bought the new TP Link Deco WiFi 6 mesh setup. I have gigabit and at the main hub I’m seeing 900+ up and down. Almost all other devices that matter are seeing 400+
I have my gateway set to bridge mode and letting the Deco handle the routing and DHCP since it’s more powerful... advise you do the same with whatever setup you choose.
Researching this option now. Seems to be the beat option to try first. Thank you!
I have found that netgear powerline 2000 is a good option for when you meed reliability in connection, e.g. with your work computer.

I've got an eero Pro setup with my FiOS Gigabit. I previously had an Asus router in the basement of my TH, but the signal was weak two stories up where my office was.
I got the Pros and now have units on each level with rock solid wifi throughout the house.
The Pro is on back order with no timeline :( I went with TP-Link. If it doesn’t do it for me, I’m sending it back and trying the Pro.
