Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? Which one should I go for?

1. Oracle - 18.3 LPA fixed + probable bonus (I may or may not get)
2. Amadeus - 18 fixed + 1.5 variable.

Amadeus is also giving joining bonus of 75k. Amadeus is paying more, may give better hikes too, but I am finding it hard to let go off Oracle's brand name on my resume even if it's means around 2L less over an year. I am planning to work for atleast 3 years in my next company.

What would you have done in my place? Should I go for Oracle or Amadeus?
