When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
I recently interviewed with MITRE for a systems engineering role to make the move from Leidos where I feel underpaid for the work I do and for my experience ($85K). I have 4 YOE, a STEM degree, and soon will have a Masters Degree. I’m looking to make around $120K in the new role at Mitre. Does anyone have any insight into comp there? This would be in the DC metro area. Does $120K seem reasonable or am I dreaming?
McKinsey & Company Any advice to help prepare for data science analyst role at top consulting firms (McKinsey & Company EY Boston Consulting Group etc)? Any materials, open source platform recommended to take on freelance data science project? When should I start actively looking and applying? Is it easy for engineers to become TPMs?
Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

That’s a solid offer, but in NYC, you might have some room to negotiate, especially with a master’s and two years of experience. Check levels.fyi and see where you stand. If the company is thriving, no harm in asking for more! Worst they can say is no. Are there any equity or perks in the mix?
NYC is a bit harder for me to say, either in a hcol or even a vhcol area. I know somebody with similar qualities, however they are around 130k I believe. Very low cost of living area, and I want to say they have a lot of perks that make up for the salary. Location plays a huge role in salary, so definitely look at location specific examples.
