Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

I have two job offers, one offers a salary of 61.5k and the other job offers an hourly rate of $27.65 with $41.48 for OT, as well as Sales Incentive Compensation Plan where the annual target incentive compensation is 42.86%. In other words, I could potentially receive quarterly bonuses that add up to around $24,650. However, that bonus isn’t guaranteed according to the offer letter and is contingent on my and my clients performance. Should I take the first job or second job?

Is your bonus or any part of your comp tied to new biz dev that you pull in? If so, how is that structure setup? Percent of total or Y1 contract value? Specific incentives based on growth targets? I work at a newer agency that is experimenting with new comp structures, so I want to get a sense of what is competitive.
