Everyday. Husband travels a ton and I’m left with 2 kids, a full time job and everything else that has to get done. Sometimes I’m not sure how I’m still sane.
Same here with one toddler. Won’t have a second because I think I won’t be able to handle it
Yes. Constantly. I take a mental health day every few months where I literally sit on the couch alone and watch movies all day.
You are not! Hang in there!
Like once a week. For reals. And my youngest is 10.
You’re most definitely not alone. You can only be 100% to so many roles - professional, parent, friend, partner (and the list goes on). We tend to put ourselves last, so try to find that 1 day week/month that is just for YOU. Good luck to us all out there!
Those days are tough. Back to school sent me down this dark rabbit hole on a few occasions the past month. I also downloaded a meditation app. Trying to find ways (other than wine) to recharge my batteries #HangInThereMama
Oh and I broke down in tears twice last week...and I'm not a big crier
Daily!
All the time
You are not the only one. I want a solo vacation
I keep telling myself I’m going to take one day quarterly to do whatever the fuck I want. Sleep in, go shopping, spa, or literally stare at the wall. Trying to hold myself to it.
The other day I wanted to just lay down on the pavement and cry.
BSD1 I find a weekly work from home day, where I am alone in my house with no one to touch me, helps immensely and decreases the need for PTO. Sometimes I can even put on an episode of Law and Order while I do something mundane.

All the time. You are not alone ❤️
