Manager said that they won’t put people on my team up for promo in Q1 (I’m in a cohort) because “historically that’s way too early and rarely gets approved”. I checked on our internal system for promos for Q4 and 75% of promos in my org happened with the same amount of tenure as if I went up in Q1.

Is it worth trying to go up in Q1 because it’s clear that she’s not telling the truth? Or is it not worth it because she clearly is actively holding our team back, and I should go for Q2?

Unfortunately the US CPE course that i pursued was same as the course that i did last year and hence i didnot get credits and became NON-compliant as of june 2021. Can anyone please advise on what to do to become compliant?

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?
