Is this merged role worth considering as someone young in the industry with more traditional intern and freelance copy experience.

Hello everyone, I'm a cs grad student graduating in may making a career transition from mechanical eng to cs. I had an internship but its been hard to find a fulltime dev role. I was thinking of taking a lower position at some company and working myself up maybe BI to DA. I would like to work as a dev but a lot of the small companies are offering salaries significantly under 100 for jr dev roles. Any thoughts?

Is it easy for someone in tech working in ops/business side to switch to MBB consulting?

I have 7 plus experience in c++. I am trying new job within Chennai location but I am getting 1 or 2 interview calls for a month. I know c++ is old language and openings are very less and competitor people also less.
Shall learn new courses like AWS... its totally different from my experience I am not sure it will help to my career.

Could you please suggest shall I continue with c++ or shall I go with other platforms. Since I am getting very low package.

What do you think about switching tech stacks vs becoming an expert in one stack? I am a backend Java engineer, and have solely used Java since I've started my software engineering career about 2 years ago. Hello, I’m about 3 and a half years as a clinical data manager. Does anyone have any advice in how I can progress my career?

I'm in a litigation, about 9 months in. Is it normal that I spend majority of my time making bundles for my partners (printing, binding, moving docs in a different order whenever there are new documents or he wants to add stuff) reviewing documents and making tables (e.g. dates, which documents are from where), and the only legal work is like notices of admission, list of documents, the occasional research? I'm so bored and I want to quit but I don't know if I have unrealistic expectations.

Which of the two contributes more revenue YOY then the other? New Clients or Existing Customers?

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? And how would I be able to cross over to management?

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for.
