I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)
I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

Your response depends on if you want to continue with this woman or move on.
If you wish to move on, you can say that since we have different priorities in life we can call it off:
"Even though I too am family oriented, but I would always like to have the option to pursue my dreams if an opportunity presents itself. I understand that you have take care of your parents and there is nothing bad in that. Just think we have different goals in life. "
If you wish to continue with her:
"I understand that you are not comfortable moving countries with me at the current moment and I totally support that decision, however in future if an opportunity presents itself where we get to upgrade our lifestyle and secure our future in ways we can't even imagine in India. Would you be willing to reconsider your decision? Or would you be willing to move out for a few years, earn some money and return back to India? Or live in a setting where I live overseas and you can take care of the family?"
WARNING: I would suggest never go with the last option of separate countries, can be disastrous.
With life plan change.... Go with her buddy.... Believe me if both are earning onsite salary of one is equal to both Indian salary....
Worst advice ever. With the amount of power women have over men, this can be very dangerous, even if @Author wanted to move abroad and she didn't, she could literally arm twist author into doing anything she wants.
It's an AM setting, there is nothing to lose.

First of all- congratulations because you have posted your query in the correct bowl.
Since this is AM I have few questions for you. Why are going for a girl who earns more than you, and is older than you? If your ans
is you don't care then fine. With the leverage women have today she can force you to do anything or agree to anything after marraige. Right now, you have the opportunity to decide so use this to the fullest. If you want to go abroad and she has already said no then I don't think she will agree to it at any cost. Even if she agrees before marraige she can completely flip post marraige and you cannot do anything because laws are just one sided but right now you can say no and get away peacefully.
My view - let her go, but I am not telling you to do what I am saying. Think peacefully and decide for yourself but always remember you are looking to marry and not to surrender.
