Skype is definitely terrible but their hardware has actually been making leaps and bounds lately and the shift towards open source is encouraging. The amount of amazing research and innovation coming out of their labs has always been staggering, they've just always lost the magic in translation to market due to their bureaucracy. I'm more worried about AAPL lately as they seem to have lost their edge
Wait, I thought MSFT is doing well now. I like Windows 10 more than most of their previous OS releases and think Skype for Business is a decent improvement on Lync.
LinkedIn was shit before MSFT. I've used it since launch. Was it MSFT's fault they fell flat on their face post IPO? No. Plus, one of the biggest issues with LinkedIn is its users, which is outside of MSFT's control. They've been innovating in terms of hardware more than Apple has in recent years. Office, Exchange and O365 still rule the landscape for email and productivity. PwC used Notes for way too long, and it fucking sucked. They decided to be "cool" and go Google. Aside from email search, Google for Work fucking sucks. It was a boondoggle, and they should have gone with MSFT's solution.
Azure baby, Azure....kicking ass..
Better than Notes!
Yeah they've done a great job post-Ballmer. Still lots of room to grow in certain areas but they're staying relevant in cloud and enterprise applications while investing into AR/VR and other trends so they don't get left behind like they did with mobile
^ 👏
@D1 - that sounds more like an issue with idiots deploying it in that Enterprise environment, or issues between the keyboard and the user.
You know OP is full of 💩 when they say Outlook sucks
Whats wrong with linkedin?
Not their stock
Skype is pure shit and so is bloody outlook
A1 it's no keyboard/user issue.
