Hahahaha. Seriously, best areas to live? When it comes to SF, it’s more like “what can you find to live in for a reasonable price"
1,500-1,800 / mo. Is doable with 1-2 roommates. That would also be a good way to meet people.
You’ll need roommates for sure. Even the Tenderloin, which you should absolutely avoid, won’t have prices that low. If you can find roommates, Russian Hill, Pac Heights and certain parts of Potrero Hill are good. Note that you likely won’t be able to have a car unless you’re up for hill parking daily and $300 monthly parking.
What is your monthly budget and how far are you willing to commute?
I currently live in Walnut Creek and I love it, great people, beautiful area
You’re never going to find your own place for that within SFO. Bare min for a studio would be 3000/mo. 4500/mo for a 1BR.
You could find a couple places with rooms for rent in the 1500-1800 range within 30-40 minutes of the FinD, but most will all he in the outer mission and balboa park areas, which are reasonable safe but don have much going on
Yeah for that price range you will most def need a roommate(s) but agreed that could be a nice thing if you are new to the area. Instant friends. Would recommend Russian hill, pac heights, Marina, north beach if you want to be in the action
Lol funny
I’ll exceed $100k, getting out of the audit dance and moving into M&A due diligence. $1,500-$1,800 monthly rent s/b fine.
Don’t want to commute more than 40 minutes
