So- we run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) for our clients display ads in a feed and corresponding google sheet via Google DoubleClick. My q is- does anyone know what systems out there allow for creating a template that will automatically pull a product image from say Target.com and automatically building the ad & copy without manually making 1000 ads via row for row in the google sheet? I know this is possible but curious if Sizmek or Flashtalking are more common in this type of creative development.

Hey OP, I don't have a book or class to recommend but here's a couple tips that I've learned from my own experience. Hope it's helpful!
1. Your anxiety is based off of the perception of how you THINK you'll perform - it's not about how you're really performing. This is the quickest way to self sabotage yourself into thinking you're not good enough which can then manifest into the quality of your work. You got the promotion! Own it! Be a cheerleader, not an enemy to yourself.
2. Listen listen listen. Don't be quick to share your opinions. Get to know your team - the people above you and the people under you. Understand the environment that you're working in. The first 6 months to a year in a new role is all about discovery and learning.
3. As the head of a team, you decide if you're going to be a "manager" or a "leader". It's entirely up to you. As a leader, find out what motivates each member of your team. Find out their strengths and their weaknesses. Be an ally to help them grow and succeed (if they want it). Always remember, everyone has shit going on whether they decide to share that with you or not. Practice empathy.
Good luck OP. In my opinion the best way to learn being a leader is just doing it. You'll make mistakes but that's how you learn to become better. You're welcome to DM me if you want to chat further!

All good OP. I have felt that over the years too, it's a constant battle with ourselves where there's days I feel great about myself, other days, not so much. A healthy dose of self reflection is needed to keep yourself grounded but make sure you never let the negativity take over.
You can do it OP! Feel free to reach out to me anytime. ♥️ Congrats on your promotion! 🥳
Congratulations! My bit of advice is take into account each person has their own personality and what works in managing one person won't necessarily be as effective with someone else. Be fair across the board. Treat your team members how you would want to be treated. This is your chance not to be that asshole boss that you always hated. 🙂
