My 13 month old son is has taken to shrieking at the top of his lungs. This started about a month or so ago—he seems to do it when stationary (in high chair, in bathtub, on changing pad). The shrieking seems to be unrelated to any condition we can improve (hunger, thirst, diaper etc). It is so loud it hurts my ears majorly. “No!”, shushing, angry glares, or calm requests to stop are all ignored—he appears blissfully unaware we don’t care for this. Please tell me this will stop or suggest...

I have a student who only comes to school two days a week and then only for 1 hour. He tells me I have to pass him so it doesn't matter. This is very frustrating. I knew this student hates school and often states he is stupid. I just do my best to encourage him. Build confidence. Any ideas to encourage him more? By the way, taking to his parent does nothing.

I need advice.
I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. The plant manager doesn’t know my skills so anytime I’m in the office working he calls me to the floor to do something the other techs can do. Should I have a talk with the boss about it?
