It's hip to be square
Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

I vote that you make that a Wednesday - Sunday trip.
I love Puerto Vallarta too - I’d be nervous to catch rain season in July though.
Highlands NC. - tons of cool small towns with great food and outdoors popping up
Somewhere in the Caribbean
Turks & Caicos, Roatan, Belize are all <4 hour direct flights
Is this a couple getaway? Friends trip? Family trip?
Puerto Rico, Caribbean, Cozumel
Asheville would be great - I love it there. For your milestone birthday if you want to whoop it up… maybe not so much but some people love the mountains. There are a lot of great rentals up in north GA mtns.
Another option for a direct flight that is about 2.5 hours and glorious that time of year - Ogunquit, Maine. Fly to Boston or Portland and rent a car. Totally zen and not blazing hot like ATL. Super quaint, solid food scene, full of French Canadians and very relaxed.

Chicago or Boston and see if you can time it with a baseball game if you like that.

Nashville or Gatlinburg. Nashville for the food and music; Gatlinburg for the tourist trap shenanigans.
