Did they also say "you can't sit with us" and wear pink on Wednesdays?
Green, everyday and not a pretty green.
Did the new employees constantly offer up "at my old company we did it THIS way..." or "....my old boss used to let me do it...." or "one time, at band camp...."?
She always had a sour lemon look on her face, looked you up and now and said, "That's not how we do things" with no context out of the blue. She would do it to all new employees and to the new manager during team meetings. If she didn't like you she'd point out all of your mistakes on the corporate chats and say just helping, lol.
That coworker is scared, brittle, and toes the perceived company line because adaptation to changing work patterns takes more effort than snapping at fellow employees, I’m guessing.
Its a group of 4 of the meanest women I have ever worked with. They make the rules, break them at will and the most insecure one will look you up and down and tell you, get with the program. Otherwise she makes everyone lives miserable. When I reported her to the new managers, they brushed me off and promoted her. She's gotten 3 people fired and towards the end the boss realizing he had befriended the wrong person was near tears. I still speak to two of the managers that were fired but they don't want to discuss what happened. When I contacted one to wish him well he said it was too traumatic to speak about but I have a feeling he has lawyered up so he doesn't want to discuss anything. Where does she get the energy? For example she would make sure she knew everyone's schedule who was in a meeting so if a phone wasnt picked up she would post on the corporate chat, "friendly reminder Chris, everyone is at lunch please don't miss the phone" and if I said thank you she would comment, you know I watch out for you. It was so creepy. She could have messaged me privately. I don't know when everyone is at lunch or in a meeting. We have a team of 30 in 3 different offices.
