I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I was told by employer US Work Authorization team that since I’m on OPT and my EAD is still being processed, the E-Verify case is “on hold” until my EAD arrives or my hire date. They mentioned no further action is needed for now and that I’d get a chance to revise the I-9 once the EAD is in.
But when I checked the status, the case was already closed due to incorrect info, and now employer is warning that my job could be at risk unless this is fixed with E-Verify.
The employer cannot hire a person not authorized to work in the U.S. If you have not received your EAD yet you don’t have authorization.
