My family lives in Europe. I want to set them up with a credit card that I would pay here in US. Must have 0 international fees. Any suggestions? How do I do this given they are not US citizens?

I would recommend a higher end Chase product like Sapphire Reserve. No international fees and they (you) will earn a ton of points to travel back and forth to see each other.

like

I wouldn't choose chase. They don't have the option for chip and pin on any of their cards. It would be a hassle for the relative to have their card work like an American tourist instead of a local form of payment.

The points aren't as good but I think Barclays has US cards with chip and pin options. I think there are several other issuers with chip and pin too.

My criteria in select a card in this situations would be no foreign transaction fees/ chip and pin option/ points

In your name or theirs? Are they just authorized users?

If the above, just any card with zero exchange fees. Tons of them out there

Capone. Gave my mom one, she’s had no issues with acceptance since it’s visa, different card number so helps me track my expenses overall very happy with it
For the last 5 years. Also no fee for adding someone plus no annual fee in general

This! My parents and in-laws in India have add-ons to my CapOne Quicksilver. It’s a Visa with separate card number for each account, no annual fees and no international transaction fees plus 1.5% cash back

Amex?

My b didn’t know

Costco citi card

I believe the Chase United Explorer card has zero exchange fees.

I figured I’d sneak in during the height of the chaos

Revolut

Revolut for sure!

Capital one venture has no fees

Thank you!!! I didn’t even know of the authorized user option. This is so wasy. I can just add them to my amazon cc or sapphire preferred. Both seem to be free for additional users and have zero transaction fees. Am I missing something?

Sapphire pref has $75

I don’t intend to cash them out before 5 years.

Best everyday bank account and credit card in Australia for an expat couple?

I‘m moving to Australia with my partner and we don’t have a bank account and credit cards yet. We basically need the bank account only for everyday finance stuff (local payments, debit card, etc) and we‘re looking for some credit cards with good international fees and ideally a reward program to collect some points for traveling.
