My father is above 60 and has agricultural income & is retired since 2021,
In 2022-2023 my father has withdraw certain mutual funds & stocks that were invested for sometime.

Q) Does my father need to file ITR?

He has consulted a CA who says no need to file ITR but I don't completely agree based on past experience of receiving notice for non filing of ITR having performed market related transaction.

I've transferred my PF from Wipro to Cognizant where in it the Employee's PF shows around 83k but the Employer's PF shows only around 27k.

If the employee and employer have to contribute 12% then both should be equal to 83k isn't it?

Please advise where I am going wrong.
