My firm just switched to using teams and I hate it. How did teams ever get to be so popular with businesses?

It's just ease of integration and cost. If all your other platforms are Microsoft, and they include teams with any enterprise shit you buy, of course you'll force your teams to use it.

Enterprise relationships. It’s about money, not actual utility.

Very true. My company uses Microsoft Office Suite.

Microsoft wanted to buy Slack but then realized they can just copy it (poorly) and integrate it into Office which enterprises often already pay for.

Ironically enough, Microsoft had Windows Messenger and Skype but they dropped the ball with both. Seems to be a thing with them in general.

Yeah but they’d probably ruin Slack anyways.

Hi fishes, I declined the offer from Pwc AC bangalore on July 28th by sending an email to HR, communicated the same to us_pwc_ac_bangalore_recruitment_services@pwc.com. But I keep getting these emails to complete pre-hiring formalities and daily reminders for the same. How can I make them update the status in system? Also are there repercussions of rejecting an offer. I rejected 3 days after acceptance. PwC Pwc AC

Does anybody have a good guide or resource they can point to in regards to show clients how to organize their documents for our firm? Young solo here w/ a question about fees: 1. A local solo criminal defense attorney has offered to pay me to go and make appearances before the Court on some of her cases to make announcements. Does anyone have thoughts or opinions on what a reasonable fee would be to do something like this? Hourly? Flat Fee? 2. I want to ensure this is ethical. I don’t see an issue with this. Thoughts?

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. Everybody says there's exit-ops aplenty, but I find myself with less options and even more picky than I did as an ambitious T2 undergrad student. Where do I go from here?

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you

I just started freelancing after having been FT for a long time. Top agency experience, Cannes Lions, NYC-based, DM me!

Started a new job search about 2 weeks ago. Of the 14 recruiter screening calls I’ve gone through, all went amazingly well, and I’ve only heard back at all from 4 since the calls. Why?

I'm a Canadian AD and I'm thinking of working in Europe. Is there a well known staffing/ recruiting agency for creatives out there?

Any advice on how to find new creative interns in NYC? We aren’t a big agency but we have some great opportunities!

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...
