My mother was diagnosed with ALS back in December 2024. The combination of being her personal caretaker, my own mental health decline from watching the disease progress, and working full time, a 7 hr side gig AND constant stress from work and keeping up with bills has caused me to have breakdowns even at the workplace. Please tell me, what can I do to try and get out of this? Sometimes I feel incapacitated, and now my work performance has gotten much worse. Antidepressants only do so much.

It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. My leadership is aware and knows I am keeping my distance from them. Just doing the necessary work to keep them producing. How do you handle this? 5 years post-MBA and all my classmates are VPs in industry or Principals in consulting/IB (some are even Partners/MDs already). Do I go to a pyscitatrist whose trained more in pharma or start with therapist. Have done therapy in past without much help.
