Hi I currently working as an Underwriting Associate been in the this role for 6 months now. I am thinking ahead on my Career Path as an underwriter. When is the right time to pursue promotion. I love the team I’m on but it does not seem to any promotional opportunities anytime soon. I have goals to move up in the corporate ladder to a leadership position. Any advice such as any designation or if I should go into a Graduate program. I currently have a degree in Economics from Uconn. Aetna
Does anyone have experience with Ben Glass’s “Great Legal Marketing” programs? https://greatlegalmarketing.com
I ordered a free “starter kit” from his company and received a decent-sized box with some books and audio CD’s. Haven’t listened to the CD’s yet, but the books aren’t bad, with plenty of practical advice.
Now he’s running a promotion where you can get two months of his basic-level course for just $19.95 to cover the cost of shipping. It seems that Ben is one of the better-regarded legal marketing “gurus” out there.

It depends whether you are ready to take the risk and desperate in moving out. I have seen people do that and worked out well for them. However its not advisible to tell your current employer that you dont have any offers while resigning.
Also if you see a trend where HRs are declining your profile because of your 3 months NP then take this decesion.
Depends on your company and rapport with your project manager. Try to come on bench then put your papers as most of the cases what happens in you put your papers then you are forced to serve your full term. My suggestion is to put papers then search as 3 months is more than enough for you to find
3 months is a very standard notice period, and other companies will only pressure you for initimidation. I would definitely find another job and then resign unless you have lots of money saved up and are okay not working
Given the market right now, you'll probably be fine giving notice and then looking, but there's no guarantee. It's a risk you have to be willing to take.
If you can handle stress then resign else ...
I think you should have an offer in hand before resigning
Here me out ... I was in your position... And was willing to take the risk of resigning before looking for a job.. but trust me it won't work... Get an offer first and then resign... This DXC won't give early release so you'll have 3 months to prep for more offers..
Is the notice period negotiable in DXC?

I suggest not to put resignation and then search for job. My friend did that by being over confident but now he is about to revoke resignation as he didn't get placed. So it's your choice to take risk.
It's better to search for a job and go for a resignation untill than u will be earning something
