My workplace just had to complete a cybersecurity training. One of my coworkers used to work someplace that had a cyber attack and found that the training they did didn’t really help. Has anyone here been through a cyber attack? Did it go like how it does in the trainings?

Yes, been through more than one.

There’s “training and table top exercises” which are fun theoretical events, but there should also be a formalized incident response plan to guide responding to a real incident.

I joined fishbowl a month ago and while I’ve seen a couple contentious debates but I must say I’m pleasantly surprised at how respectfully ppl comment on this app even when disagreeing. I wonder what makes this app diff frm others?

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
