Finance has received quite a bit of flack for lack of gender diversity - but how can firms go about attracting and retaining more female talent?

I know most of the questions here will be on sexism or inclusion of POC but can we talk about ageism? Once we reach a certain age should we just leave the agency business? Is that fair?

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?
