You can try but late in the game, comp decisions have been made when your told in Aug it's already been done
And coaches have zero power, it's PPmDs
Will there be some sort of adjustment to bring me up to the same level is my peers or will I continue making less than a new hire SC
Won't help. You can try. Those decisions aren't made at your counselor level..
Flag for discussion this year and Continue discussions with your SLL and other leadership and maybe next year they will adjust; comp discussions in August almost never affect your package. It's not like there's an extra pool of money that's reserved for comp adjustments, so it's too late for this year.
Done one and talked to others, decision on $$ are made in April and March.
You need to talk to your RSLL. It's too late for this year but start talking to them now and it might happen next year. If you have data points it will help to make your case.
What's your business case? Track record of 1s? What makes you indispensable? Also for the record we pay new hire mbas a lot, many of us make less at the manager level than they do.
How do you know your comp relative to your peer group?
D1: have you heard something about the comp decisions?
D5 of you know about something other than getting it through your network....let me known
Your comp will not be changed, instead use your time for a new job....Deloitte sucks...
The SLL can find a few dollars.
D3 when I did it I had to go through my service line leader. I talked to a PPD mentor before hand who emailed my SLL to pave the way but I had to go to her to make my business case. I also had a string of 1s and was leading major work, so I had a strong case for why. I also had a competing offer in hand that I had already turned down-my point was look I'm not leaving and I'm not going to threaten to leave but I know my market value so show me you value me.
I didn't get near a match but I did get a 10 percent ish raise. I'm still below new hire MBAs as a manager who went 2-1-1 but, whatever.
