Any suggestions of what should be higher? Most IC4’s I’ve seen within HR are between 130-170 TC give or take depending on the COL
I am thinking of asking for 130 base, and 80 RSU’s over 4 years which will make the offer more competitive
Make sure you account for the RSUs to continue decreasing in value as they light money on fire trying to build their metaverse

Yeah. OP as a datapoint from my anecdotes, bizops and strategy roles at the big tech companies for around 5 YOE are usually from 130-160k
This is the initial offer, plan to ask for a sign on to start, ideally I wanted to be closer to 130 base, but have been told this is close to max for the IC4 level in HR
Let’s be realistic here. It’s an IC4 role in people operations. Offer for the level and job is fair. If you get promoted you’d easily eclipse 200 plus you’ll get refreshers every year. I say it’s worth it for the better benefits and improved work life balance.
Worst case, you get us on your resume and hop back into consulting as a manager, move to another tech company, or comparable industry role
