Omg seriously though. I just want to be unassigned for one week. That's it. I know people who get a few weeks here and there, and people who get a month off on occasion. I just want one week. Just one.
Seriously! One day would be great too! I'm with you, I'm on one client year round. I never see anything else, I never get time off unless I request it/holidays. And sometimes I'm just sick of it. One of my coworkers just had a month of being unassigned and was able to knock out FAR. And then had the audacity to tell me it's not too bad, I can pass in a month too while studying+working full time. Like sure I possibly can, but it's definitely easier when you're studying full time.
And I miss those stuff too. Also doing trainings at home isn't the same when you don't get the free food lol.
Take a sabbatical if you can afford it and your firm offers. It never gets easier. Source: 3rd year senior who didn’t get promoted to manager currently on sabbatical studying for CPA
Definitely thinking about it if all else fails
