When I was $800 away from the minimum spend (for the Chase bonus) I bought a $400 gift card to my local grocery store and a $400 gift card for a local gas station. I figured I’d be spending that money there eventually anyway. Haha.

You can pay uncommon credit card stuff through a service like plastiq. Could prepay utilities, I have utilities prepaid for a year. Can’t pay mortgage through plastiq, but rent you can. There is a 2.5% fee but if you are having trouble meeting spend, it’s an option.

4k worth of amazon gift cards? Does that work

We had absolutely no problem meeting the minimum! Just put everything you can on the card, cell phone, cable, PayPal, anything you subscribe to, etc etc you’ll be surprised how fast you can spend $4k

Have friends/family book their vacation flights on the card. I just got the reserve and hit the minimum pretty quickly

Just don’t use cash at all

School and rent.

Depending on your LOS, find stuff that’s reimbursable by your firm.

Signed up for CFA exam + global entry, which basically got me to 2k spend.

Hi everybody! 😊
I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
