New grad working for 2 months, job is fully remote aside from about 20% travel. I've been struggling working remotely and feel rather disconnected and isolated, but I also know I'm lucky to have the flexibility of a remote job. I don't know at what point I should bite the bullet and admit hybrid is better for me. Going hybrid would also likely require switching companies, as at my current one almost everyone is 95% work from home. Advice on handling remote work isolation would also be great

Yea same situation here. Remote is so much more comfortable and easy but i deep down know that going into the office is better for my development

Exact same situation, even down to the 2 months out of college part… I’ve just accepted that fully remote is not for me and am actively trying to move to another consulting firm that has offices in my city.

Gonna be tough though with only 2 months of experience to compete with the experienced hires candidates.

Really hoping you're not my one work friend, because if so you're keeping me sane rn lol! But good luck! And I'm glad someone relates

Can you go to the office a couple of times a week just to switch up the scenery without switching companies? You might not have your team in the office but it’ll help trick your mind into separating work and home.

I wish I could, but I'm probably a 10+ hour drive from the nearest office. Planning to move closer to work once I get a chance, but right now I'm living at home paying off student loans

If so, wondering what your recommendations are and or if there are new cards out there I haven't heard of yet. Hey guys, I am CA having post qualification experience of 2.5 years. My last one year experience has been with Deloitte USI as an audit senior associate. I am looking for work from home options. Preferred working areas are audit and direct taxation. Can anyone help.

It’s looking like my job is gonna start asking us to return to the office. We have an open office plan and before we wfh FT I would save all my work for my telework days bc I can’t get shit done in the office. I’m having major anxiety about them making this decision. I know I’m not alone that people don’t want to return to the office. My ADHD and the open office just makes working from the office a nightmare and I’m feeling really nervous and kind of resentful.

So, the CDC removed the Covid guidelines. I’ve never had Covid. I’m afraid people will come into work not wearing a mask and be inconsiderate… ughhh so distracting and disgusting. I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Not even sure if I should ask for accommodations to continue being able to wfh at least most days of the week to reduce risk. Idkkkk 😩This is so unprecedented. I always wear my mask at work. I’m getting pressured to attend firm events as well

can anyone tell me what is the work policy in S & P Gurgaon ? is it hybrid model or wfh?

Anyone else in “I’ll do my job description and nothing more” mode? I’ve gone above and beyond for my company for a while, and all I got was my quarterly bonuses and remote work taken away without explanation. Owner says he wants more “team building” from his florida mansion (we’re in the northeast). Half the company remote, half the company in the office with 0 explanation why. You want us cracking new accounts? Banging out 100 calls a day? PAY US ACCORDINGLY. Don’t piss on us and call it rain

I applied for a job and received an offer from my client. 15k+ bump in salary, better benefits/remote work, and responsibilities will give me exposure to all areas of the organization (start up). The problem is that they’re looking to staff me as a Senior when I’m currently a Manager at DT. They said they’re flexible on title, but curious to hear how others have navigated similar situations. I would report directly to the controller and have 1-2 staff reporting to me...
