Next Friday is my LWD at TCS, and this is my first switch, Its making very nervous and at the same time I am scared what if I will not find the people in the new company...like I found in my current organisation....my mentor in TCS has helped me so much in initial weeks and guided me whenever required, I will be joining other organisation in next week, and have no idea in which project I will be working, and how will I survive there, is it normal to feel like this?

I had a HR Discussion after clearing 2 HCL rounds and 2 client interviews . HR is not considering moving above 40% hike no matter whatever I say to justify, the Discussion was like talking to a wall . Any suggestions to get another 10-15% more (first offer)? Will HR reject me stating this reason in HCL ??
