This sucks. I normally always fill up my water bottles with toilet water before heading to the client site
Whole new meaning to “eau de toilette"
What is wrong with that exactly? It’s called reclaimed water...it’s pretty normal and required in any modern LEED certified building. If you think that’s bad visit Israel, Middle East, parts of Australia where they have extremely limited freshwater and this is ubiquitous. Most of US has crappy weather (snow or summer thunderstorms) and lots of leftover water in reservoirs so we tend to waste tons of it...
Yes...that sign is a clear indication of luster less ness. The housing prices and lack of unemployment are a testament to SF’s poor desirability... Houston or some such place are clearly the better city...who needs natural beauty and good weather when you’ve got A/C and oil refineries after all?
You should take a sip, you don’t know what you’re missing out on
The people of Cape Town would be begging for that water. Frankly, it doesn’t make much sense that the water that fills the toilet and that comes from the kitchen faucet is of the same purity, other than simplicity in piping. With growing scarcity of fresh water, that may no longer be a norm.
@KPMG2- What's wrong with that is that they feel there is a need to tell us not to drink toilet water, not that it's reclaimed water. SF is quickly losing its luster.....
This is yet another example of how corporations are trying to ring-fence themselves from any possible litigation from people who may decide to follow the BCG2 ironical statement. In no other country people would need to be told how and what to do so that they in turn don’t sue for their own choices in life.

Well, California is in a drought
Maybe it was to warn dogs
Recycled water vs fresh water in a toilet
Go green and pee in the sink
To be clear, the problem is not the use of reclaimed water (I use it at my home), The problem is we need a dam sign to tell people not to drink out of the toilet, Something my dog has been successfully trained not to do!
This is definitely for seeing eye dogs
I would have guessed you were in Seattle or Portland or something.
^ from the actual toilet?
SF is amazing but it needs to solve its housing crisis. Too many homeless people there.
