Nose stud for women is fine.
Small nose ring is probably okay for most.
I’d personally steer away from septum piercings.
If you’re a girl
Lol I’m just saying walk into any office and it’ll take you less than 15 minutes to find a girl with a stud. Very commonly accepted.
Guys on the other hand, I’m not sure I’ve met one in the 8 years I’ve been working

I have a septum but I flip it up every time I’m on cam or in the office.
I had a dream where I wanted to get a septum piercing, but they didn't do that and could only do gauges on my upper lip where my mustache would be. I went for it in the dream.
Small nose stud for a girl, maybe.
No otherwise.

Most Big4 teams couldn’t care less, but about 50/50 chance the client does.
Personally, I would like you way more for it (work is infinitely better when people bring their real selves) but the downsides likely outweigh the upsides
Septum no.
Only at Deloitte
The general guidance is that it needs to be big enough to immediately earn respect and establish dominance or else they should be avoided entirely.

I opted in for a thin ring instead of a stud because there’s no distraction from the stone. I’m Indian so a thin gold ring isn’t as noticeable quickly. So far it hasn’t been a problem.
I've had a small nose ring since college. I'm 39 and have held many leadership positions and never take it out. Hasnt affected me one bit!
Also, a reminder that nose rings are cultural for some. Not for me but many SE Asians
Edit: my sister is a partner and has kept hers in. She's 41.
It's literally not a big deal
Acceptable. Nobody gives AF anymore.
Not on my project
If it’s really tiny, acceptable.
I have a couple and keep them visible. I haven’t heard anything negative about them yet.
I have a septum
In interning @ guidehouse this summer and have been looking for how strict/lax they are with piercings tattoos, can you dm/chat me or reply with what it’s like (female small nose ring, tattoos that end above my inner elbow that I can easily cover with shirts)

I think it’s unprofessional and childish. I’m a millennial for reference.
Bruh Gen Z takeover is gonna be blessed no 🧢
Haven’t been wearing one for obvious reasons, but was curious if there was general sentiment of it being acceptable or not. Seems specific to client and / or team.
