Not at EY currently. I started at this new consulting firm over a year ago and I have mostly been on bench since then. I did a small project for about 2 months and that was the duration of my career here. I have been heavily networking and leaning into supporting BD activities. However anytime we win work, it gets staffed by junior resources. My practice leader keeps promising me that there’ll be opportunities and that I have a promo in sight. But at this rate I just think I am wasting my time.

Would you suggest someone pursuing an MBA if they want to get a role in HR or Project Management? And for those that want to pursue product management... are there still a decent amount of numbers similar to accounting? Thanks

How common is it to pad billables. Let’s be *honest* you know you’ve done it....

Looking to transfer into a client associate role (unregistered at the moment, but willing to obtain). Currently have ~1.5 YOE in valuation (financial statement analysis, modeling, etc.) I get that those skills could be unrelated to a CSA role, but I think there could be some similarities. As a junior, how do you deal with the anxiety that the advice you provide to a partner based on your research (that is being sent to client without much supervision) could be wrong or incomplete?

I have worked my way up in Insurance for 4 years but the 1st year being an intern/front desk/admin and was promoted twice and now an account associate helping my AMs/AEs manage our Producers' books of business. I was recently approached by a big brokerage for a Client Manager position. I have imposter syndrome and don't think I am qualified because I dont know insurance coverages/mastered what a business would need for a particular industry (continued in comments..)

I recently moved to US from Georgia, I have team of developers and project manager in Georgia who are able to work remotely. Big advantage of this type of team is salary per hour because its quite low in Georgia rather than US. Because Im new here I dont have connections with businesses in this field, where can I find cofounders like this who will be interested in software development and finding clients for this team?

Round or exact numbers on banners/LPs? I was curious about this since in negotiations for example or pricing it's better to have the exact number. But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? Anyone has seen any impact on conversion rates?

My current project winds up on 31st December 2022. I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously. So I am working as a UI UX designer since Jan22. I started with a really good project (everything from the scratch) with research, knowing the user etc. The project went really well. It was my first project that I handled individually. I got another project it also went well. Then I was told to work directly with a client, it's been 2 months already we work late hours and also on weekend (asked by the client). It feels like my personal life is gone.
