What kind of plastic surgery? If breasts or nose/face, is the type of guy who that would make a difference for really the kind of guy you want to start a meaningful relationship? If weight-loss surgery, there are better ways.
Also, could PA hours be getting in the way? I'd consider a career change before permanent body modification.
These comments lol
I've dated hotter men than my husband, but he is one of the most genuine people I've ever met and we make a great team. In the past, I dated a few super hot dumb or arrogant guys and couldn't deal with it after like 3 dates. Forever is a long time to deal with someone with a shitty personality. We've been together 10 years now and still love each other, so that's a win in my book.
That being said, I'm going to get plastic surgery.
I agree be happy with yourself but you are all delusional if you don't think physical attraction is the initial start of a relationship. Yes the world sucks but hot people generally are with hot people and 1-5 are with 1-5. Whether it's work out body modification etc if you want to land someone in The category you are looking and you may have to change yourself. Sure there are exceptions and you know when you see them you think to yourself wow how did he or she land that guy or girl. Sure it's shitty but it's life and it's not all about personality
Plenty of ridiculously hot people with terrible personalities that are in relationships simply because they are hot and people are willing to put with more when that is the case.
Save and buy a nice sports car like a GTR. Maybe you'll get asked out so he can drive your car.
OP - surgery is NOT a magic bullet that will fix your life. What might happen is you'll feel more comfortable/confident. If you want to feel better about yourself, and it's the only option, go for it. Personally, I'm doing Invisalign at this late stage in life because it's for my dental health...how it looks to other people is just a bonus. You do you, but because you want it, not because someone else does.
I'm not sure what I am threatened by. I just think you have blind spots and are not self aware.
EY I agree and was just saying we don't know the extent or reality of the situation. It's just annoying seeing everyone tell OP that looks don't matter and she must have a shitty personality when that may or may not be true. We don't know. And I was trying not be gender specific because it absolutely goes both ways.
Also I agree that it shouldn't stop you from having a relationship but also need to be realistic in who that relationship is with. I have a guy friend who is unhealthy and believes he should be dating super models and there's is alone. Sure it could happen but realistically won't. If he were to accept that he may need to date someone less attractive he would have an easier time.
^yeah but if you want a child? You know the clock is always ticking for women.
Nose job specfically... im not fat, but i really think my face is preventing me from finding a guy... im not disfigured, just not happy with my awkward face
Also if you do activities you enjoy, you will meet people that enjoy similar things and thus, normally your company. I recommend finding something you are passionate about outside of work ad finding a group or club to join. You'll meet lots of guys there unless you specifically join something women only. And minor cosmetic surgery like a nose job is fine if you are doing it for YOU. If you do it for a man and are still single after it's going to really harm your relationship with yourself. Nothing wrong with doing what you want as long as it's for the right reasons
Normally enjoy your company*
Lololol let me just say, if a dude was not interested in you before plastic surgery/makeover/whatever, that's probably gonna eat you up afterwards. Vapid AF and you'll always wonder how genuine they are.
Pics please
This is ridiculous. Unless your nose is completely missing or cut off, it's your personality that's preventing you from finding a bf.
@EY7 I guess there's no part of your body you'd like to change? I don't have a problem finding a boyfriend. I just don't like my nose.
It's your life, do what you want. Most guys are not that picky. It's probably your low self-esteem driving guys away. Be happy with yourself first.
Rather be with a fun guy than a hot guy. How boring.
When is the last time you dated someone you are not physically attracted to and how long did it last.
I get turned on by personality, not faces. It's my kink I guess.
^CW1 I agree. I've been out with beautiful women who were ignorant and narrow minded. It's a turnoff. Best gf I ever had was a pharmacy student. At least I felt proud to have her beside me even if it was at the library while I was reading for my law classes 😂. My point being, like I'm sure the 38 other posts have stressed is butt lifts and Botox only make you more attractive to fuck, not to forge a relationship.
