Don't know much about BD, but if Bain is offering same comp at lower level, it somewhat hints at steeper increases ahead. I'd take the role that sounds more interesting and not worry about "prestige"
You mean just “Manager” in Accenture Strategy. Take Bain. There will be a massive diff in comp in a short time (particularly bonus, as ACN is 0-20%, where most get 5-13% at M) and the Bain brand is significantly better (though probably not the culture). ACN Strat is not in the digital space, but we do many mixed team projects with our Digital BU.
I would take Bain. You want to have that name on your resume. Accenture strategy is great but still not the same level of responsibility and opportunities even with manager title.
Accenture is better in the digital space to those in the know but Bain is superior to everyone else. Take Bain
We only just started investing in digital and consultants don’t specialize in that area. It may be a new role but I’d clarify if you’d have the same promotion track as everyone else
They work on more design thinking or technology focused projects. Frequently they are embedded in the case team and will travel to the client location with the team. However there is some flexibility there I think. Adapt will also lead large high level client workshops. Some of the teams do a lot of wireframe and prototype design for client applications. You would be best served by reaching out to the recruiter and getting connected with someone in ADAPT. I have only worked with them twice.
