No, no, no, I'm never ready. Last year I felt like I was fighting off a cold for most of the school year. It never really got bad enough that I could call myself sick, but I was just kind of low key miserable. It's better to just get the kind of cold that knocks you out of commission and then you bounce back fine.

I was the same at the beginning of the year. Then bloodworm showed vitamin deficiencies, abnormal thyroid, and dehydration.
I swear as teachers we are way more prone to getting sick than any other profession (maybe besides healthcare). I'm sick SO much more often than my friends and family members. I've been working on improving my gut health and my immune system this year though, and have definitely been getting sick less. So hoping this winter is better than normal for me!
I already had COVID during the 3rd week of September (shortly after we started school here in Western NY)...and now that winter is coming I expect a garden variety of germs are lurking just around the corner...👀👀👀

I sprayed Lysol in my room often when we returned to school after the lockdowns. My principal walked in when I was spraying and had a fit. Said I couldn't use those chemicals around students.
