1 - Join EY cloud strategy as SM working under two partners and with 2 other SMs (will be partners in the next 2-3 years) that I know well; with a fast track to partner for myself.

Or

2 - Join BCG DV at EM level and work towards partner level there. Completed final interview last week and got positive feedback.

I don’t think there’s a wrong answer, but I have the EY offer in hand, comp difference is negligible.

A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?
