Just reach out to the company directly.
I agree with A1, reach out directly. Let them know that you would rather work directly with human resources to interview for the position because of your history with the recruiter and your interest in the job.
While I am in a completely different line of work, I had a terrible experience with a recruiter that was recruiting for a local company. A few weeks later an internal recruiter with the hiring company reached out to me. I was open and honest about how poor of an experience I had with the external recruiter. I learned that I wasn't the only one to have a negative experience with that recruiter and the hiring company had already stopped dealing with them.
So to Recruiter 2, I disagree that it is bad advice. Companies should know if the firms they are hiring to recruit for them are not being professional.
No offense, but she ghosted you because the client passed on you. And she is juggling 3,000 candidates so she didn’t have the chance to get back to you. Good practice? No. But is a reality of in-house recruiting.
Stop caring about feelings. It’s business. She is obviously a good recruiter because she’s getting all these roles you’re interested in. It’s not her fault you didn’t make the cut.
If you want the best chance, call the recruiter. Perhaps this time you’ll be more what the client is looking for.
Amazing! Congrats!!!
