It went well and i am hoping for a positive response.
Want to know how much should I expect Or at what pkg should I negotiate with them.
I am thinking of proposing 13-15 LPA negotiable.
4 YOE and 7 LPA currently

People from FAANG and the likes, I have a question. Do you guys ask DSA questions because those things are actually used by you on a daily basis or you guys ask them just because others are asking them in the interview and all you guys want to do is to look cool and sound intelligent?

Hi all, I was on a break in my carrer and now I got an offer from Deloitte as part of their encore program.as per the offer letter its a 16 week on job training ,post that I will get confirmed. Any one know about this process and how tough it is.i have other normal offers also now, but wish to be a part of deloitte.is it good to leave other offers and join Deloitte for this training? I was amazed to see that big companies that we used to call dream companies in college days eg. Oracle, Deloitte,Citi dont have budget to pay but TechMahindra, CTS, Mphassis etc are paying twice.
I am 5.5 yoe java Fullstack developer CCTC 10 lpa.
Oracle offered me 14 lpa
Citi 16 lpa whereas
TechM 19 lpa
Mphassis 21 lpa.
When I asked citi and Oracle to match they said no budget.

Obviously why will they.. product firms or captives like oracle and citi do not make money on you.. that means they not sharing your profile and charging from customers. Also their attrition is not as high as service firms. Also their systems are pretty good and so they know they can hire people within their budget and make them work with proper training and anyway they do not show your profile to customers . Also they care about their bottom line. they pay similar salary to all their employees. Where as in techM few employees are at very very low salary and few are at very high.. yes they won't give hikes and promotions for next few years to new joiners to average out salary but still.. lot of resentment and unhappiness in such companies

I wouldn't join a company as big as Oracle, who had to block 11lpa
Look for something else
You can get better offers from better companies.
Oracle can't afford you. So don't go to companies which can hardly affords you because what's guarantee they will do good appraisal next time. They can simply say you are already getting best.
How you get to know BGV is cleared ??
The hiring manager told me when I enquired.

Once the demands subsides, what do you think these(techm acn, wip, infy…) companies are going to do- 1-2% appraisal and bonus deductions. Right now many projects are there, which were canceled due to covid in 2020-21.
